It’s the holiday announcement I have been waiting for since November 1st!
100.3 WNIC made the holiday announcement on their morning show — Jay Towers in the Morning — saying that Christmas music will begin playing 24/7 on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
That is two weeks before Thanksgiving.
Many WNIC listeners were becoming upset, posting pictures, and comments to WNIC’s Facebook page, as well as morning show host, Jay Tower’s Facebook.
“I went back and looked as far as, I think, 2005. I’ve seen November 2; I’ve seen it go as far as I think November 14. It’s just when it feels right,” he told us. “Our boss Tony just comes in and says, ‘I think today we’re going to do it.'”
